Q: Is the volumetric concrete industry different from the ready-mix industry?
A: Yes and No. The volumetric industry is a part of the ready-mix industry, involves similar products and is impacted by similar forces. There are some differences in terms of equipment, product performance, costs, abilities and opportunities that you have to learn and leverage.
Q: Are there specifications for the use of a volumetric mixer?
A: Yes. ASTM, ACI and the VMMB have specifications for volumetric mixers and their use. General ASTMs for concrete and concrete testing still apply.
Q: Do you offer on-site training?
A: Yes we do. We prefer to do our training at your site. It allows us to use both not only a presentation style of teaching but also a hands on approach with your equipment and materials.
